Traverse City, Mich. – December 20, 2024 – The Amelia, one of the world’s most recognized lifestyle concours known for its racing roots and luxurious setting at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, today shares details of its 30th annual event schedule, bringing the global enthusiast community together around the love of cars from March 6-9, 2025.
In addition to multiple partner events and auctions through the weekend, onsite events at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island will span all four days, and include luxury experiences, gearhead deep-dives, and the ultimate behind-the-scenes access to racing greats.
- Thursday, March 6 kicks off with the inaugural Reverie event, the weekend’s premier opening celebration highlighting the resort’s gorgeous ocean-front setting as it welcomes and entertains guests.
- Friday’s driving experiences, featuring both classics and new car test drives, are followed by a thrilling seminar with racing greats and a special to-be-announced film feature.
- Test drives and legend-packed seminars continue on Saturday as the weekend accelerates with Cars & Community, a 300-car display on the main show field and an additional 200 cars on the curated RADwood fairway. The Legends of Speed Dinner, a Saturday night tradition at The Amelia, will feature this year’s honoree, Hélio Castroneves, as he shares stories from his historic racing career during a dinner inspired by award-winning global racing circuits.
- The entire weekend will culminate on Sunday in the pinnacle automotive event, the Amelia Concours d’Elegance, where the showfield will be adorned with some of the most noteworthy collector vehicles in the world. The Amelia Concours d’Elegance will highlight more than 275 historically significant vehicles in more than 35 classes including Corvettes at Sebring, Alfa Romeos of the 1930s and Formula 1 Cars 1950-Present.
Broad Arrow Auctions returns to the Ritz-Carlton for its third annual Amelia Auction on March 7-8, the official auction of The Amelia. The two-day sale will feature 150 desirable collector cars, from pre-War American and European classics to motorsport icons and modern supercars. Early highlights for the sale are led by a 1959 Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider Competizione, chassis no. 1451 GT (Estimate: $10.0 – $14.0 million). The second of only eight aluminum-bodied examples ever produced, 1451 GT is arguably one of the most significant competition Ferraris extant.
